Our next Leadership Night is Monday, September 13
Our Parish Leadership meets on the first Monday of each month (or on the second Monday, if a holiday falls on the first Monday). This leadership model was put in place following our Parish Assessment and Renewal in 2005. Each Coordinating Group is comprised of 8-10 parishioners, who meet from 7:00 until 8:30pm. Two representatives from each of the Coordinating Groups then stay to serve on our Parish Pastoral Council, which meets from 8:30 to 9:30pm that same evening.
Please consider participating on one of our five Coordinating Groups - Administration, Community, Faith Development, Outreach, or Worship - and offering 1˝ hours of your time each month in service on behalf of your parish community.
Our next Leadership Meeting will be held on Monday night, September 13, 2010, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, in the Fitzgerald Chapel. All parishioners are welcome to attend, to see the Coordinating Groups in action and the work they do on behalf of St. Athanasius Parish to lead our parish community!

Mom & Tot Playgroup on September 14
Come join us for Mom & Tot Playgroup the first Tuesday of every month from 10:00 to 11:30 am.
For the month of September only we will be meeting on the second Tuesday due to a scheduling conflict. Our next meeting, therefore, will be Tuesday, September 14th. We meet in the Rosemeyer Room in the basement of the Parish House. Children from babies to pre-school are welcome. Stay for the entire time or just drop in for a little bit as your schedule allows.

Childcare is offered during 9:30am Mass
We offer babysitting for young children during our Sunday 9:30am Mass, in the Rosemeyer Room (lower level of the Parish House). Our childcare provider is Kausar Allahrakha, who has provided child care at St. Athanasius Parish for many years and is certified in CPR and First Aid. Advance reservations are not required.
Childcare WILL BE provided on Easter Sunday during the 9:30am Mass.

NU Football Parking 2010
Use the St. Athanasius Parish parking lot for $25 per reserved space per game ($125 for the 5 games to be played in Evanston this season). Reservations will be accepted after July 1, 2010, for this year's games. The lot opens 2 hours prior to each game.
No alcohol is allowed. No heat source allowed, picnicing without heat source is allowed. No glass containers please. Garbage cans are available. Bathroom is available.
Make your check payable to: St. Athanasius Parish (memo "football parking" is helpful) and mail it c/o Karen Sellers, 1615 Lincoln Street, Evanston, Illinois, 60201. You will receive colored parking slips by return mail, and your name will be placed on our check-in list. For more information, call Karen at 847-328-1430, ext. 143.
