Family Program

The Family Program provides religious education for children, ages three through eighth grade. Active parental participation in program activities is encouraged so the entire family is involved.

The Family Program also sponsors an Adult Speaker Series on several Sundays during the children’s class sessions. All adults of the parish are invited to attend the Speaker Series.

With a staff of outstanding catechists and aides, the Family Program provides spiritual and liturgical experiences for all families involved.

This Parent Advisory group assists with the planning, development and evaluation of the parish catechetical programs.


Religious Education Program
The Religious Education Program at St. Athanasius plays a vital role in our faith community. The goal of the program is to provide opportunities for all community members, adults and children alike, to learn about themselves in relationship to God through Jesus Christ, whether they are beginning the exploration or deepening their faith in all its aspects.

All religious education events in our parish are open to all parishioners, as well as those outside the parish who might be interested.
